I have been part of the SDW Expedition in Sep 2022 in Kenya where I had the opportunity to see the negative impact of water scarcity on the local communities and how Sand Dams Worldwide's commitment and the effort is supporting those rural communities to work their way out of poverty with dignity. I decided to share this experience with my colleagues at work and promote with them this fundraising campaign with target raising £10,000 towards the cost of the materials and tools for 1 sand dam.
